Blessed Klymentiy Sheptytskiy Gymnasium is the Community of pupils, animators, teachers, tutors, salesians, administrative stuff, graduators and parents, who are united by the goal to study and upbring youth, serve to God and Church, Society and the State.
The mission of the Gymnasium is the formation of the young personality, who guides by the Christian values in her life, is competent, responsible, and ready for implementation of leadership functions. We want to realize this mission through the Christian upbringing and by the method which the Salesian founder Saint Father John Bosco left us; detailed humanitarian education; lives examples of teachers, confessors and all administrative stuff; exceptional attention for all-round development of each pupil; the modern methods of motivation; cooperation with other schools of Ukraine and the world.
Currently there are 200 pupils in the Gymnasium, who are divided into 5-11 forms, among which there are two parallel 5th and sixth classes. Averagely the filling of the form is 20-22 persons. 5A – 24; 5B – 22; 6A – 24; 6B – 19; 7 – 24; 8 – 24; 9-24; 10 – 19; 11 – 22 pupils. (as of 25/09/2011).
The study in the Gymnasium begins at 8:45 after the Holy Mass and common pray.
One lesson lasts 45 minutes.
The Gymnasium gives State certificate of secondary education.
The main goal of the Gymnasium is to give an opportunity for pupils to get quality knowledge, to evolve, identifying their preferences and interests.
Currently the are 30 educational workers in the Gymnasium, who work every day to give as many as possible knowledge in the way, which is most perceived by students.
Blessed Klymentiy Sheptytskiy Gymnasium is the institution of humanitarian profile, which is obeyed to the orders and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine.
Invariant component of the educational plans is made on the basement of Typical educational plans for humanitarian direction Gymnasium and Lyceums.
By the parent`s wishes in the variable component of the educational plans there were included such subjects as Latin - 1 class (8-11 Forms), Christian Ethic – 1 class (7, 9, 10, 11 Forms), “Culture and art” -1 class (7-9 Forms), “We are the citizens of Ukraine” – 1 class (10 Form).
Humanitarian direction of the Gymnasium makes possible to include to the variable component 2 hours of foreign languages (English, German) for 5-7 Forms, as well as these forms are newly and level of preparing of these subjects differs a lot.
The specialization of the institution allows to include into variative component such subjects as Religion – 1 class (10-11 Forms), Philosophy – 1 class (10-11 Forms) as well as many graduators enter the Ukrainian Catholic University, Theological Seminary and philosophical faculty of Ivan Franko National University.
Christian Ethic, Lviv Studies, “Culture and art”, “ We are the citizens of Ukraine” – these subjects are used for realization of regional educational component which content displays the peculiarity of our region, its history, traditions and is very important for the pupil`s formation of outlook and patriotic feelings.
Specialization of education reflected in 10th and 11th forms - philological and philosophical specializations which alternate from year to year. In the educational plans the most part of hours  assigned for the studying of such subjects:

• Ukrainian language - 3 hours;
• Ukrainian literature – 3 hours (philological specialization)
• History – 4,5 (Historical- philosophical specialization).

Gymnasium is the base institution of Christian Ethic and hours of this subject is studied optionally in 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th forms, what is a big disadvantage. (Typical educational plans don`t allow to involve Christian Ethic to the invariant component of it).
One of the Gymnasium characteristic is the increased inclination to the study of the foreign languages. Every pupil studies two foreign languages: English and German, one is the main and another – secondary. Studying of these subjects strengthen every year by such practical things as students exchange with Gymnasium foreign friends and weeks of foreign languages, which are conduct by teachers from abroad.
Traditionally, the best pupils have an opportunity to study during one term in Gymnasium of Sacred Heart in Pressbaum (Austria).

Blessed Klymentiy Sheptytskiy Gymnasium is the first Catholic School in Ukraine. It was founded in 1991 on the initiative of his Beatitude Cardinal Myroslav Ivan Liubachivskiy. During the 20 years of existing the number of our graduators are 670, 97 % of them continued their education in the universities of Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Italy and USA.
Blessed Klymentiy Sheptytskiy Gymnasium is general education institution with humanitarian direction and gives State certificate of secondary education.

The Administration of the Gymnasium consists of 30 teachers, including brothers and priests of Salesian Community (UGCC). The director and the founder of Gymnasium is Fr. Petro Mayba SDB.
The workday begins at 8 am by the Holy Mass and common pray, education begins at 8:45 am, and the duration of the class is 45 minutes.
Besides the general classes there are some more prioritized:

• Historical and philosophical
• Philological with the big attention to the studying of English and German
• Religious and Ethic.

In Gymnasium life the important role play the international programs and partnerships.
The most valuable direction of educational process besides the quality education is all-round development of the youth. The basement is Christian morality and “preventive system” of St. John Bosco.
There is created a favorable atmosphere in Blessed Klymentiy Sheptytskiy Gymnasium for development, upbringing and education of all-round educated, patriotic, moral, spiritual and confident personality.
